Abbeycroft Leisure - Go for Gold
Abbeycroft Leisure are holding a National 2012 Day on Saturday 20th December 2008. Aimed at 5-13 year olds, young people will be able to take part in a range of sports from basketball, life saving and martial arts, to cycling and hockey. The event runs from 10am to 4pm and costs 10. Ring Abbeycroft Leisure on 01284 753496 to book a place.

Christmas Revels in the Rotunda
Experience a winter wonderland at Ickworth where you can purchase your Christmas tree and everything you would need to make it look really festive. Buy your evergreen Christmas wreath and have a go personalising it to your taste. Visit the old servants quarters in the basement of the Rotunda where you can ask Father Christmas to deliver your Christmas wishes and receive an early present. Have your face painted and try your hand at some fun family crafts, including tree decorations and Christmas cards. In the West Wing you can post your Christmas wish list to Santas elves in Lap Land on the way to the National Trust shop to buy those hard to find gifts. Then finish the day with a mince pie or slice and a relaxing cup of tea in the restaurant.
