Middle School

In Bury St Edmunds our middle schools have an outstanding reputation. They give your child an important transition from the foundation years of primary school into the specialisation which will begin at the age of 14. Middle schools continue to teach the basics, but also give your child a chance to develop new areas of expertise with specialist teachers and equipment.

Your support is really important in these years. They are the period when children begin to grow into young adults, and they need the security and reassurance of understanding boundaries, receiving praise and encouragement, and developing their own identity.
